2005 Hurricane Season
Hurricane Katrina caused devestation to the Gulf States region. The Adventist Community Services
team has been mobilized to bring relief to many who were affected. There is still a need for many capable volunteers to assist with recovery
efforts. If you are able to be part of this team, call (800) 633-7992 or download the Disaster Volunteer Registration Form from the
Connection Helpline web site.
Florida Adventist Community Services also appreciates all financial contributions that are made. To directly support the work being done
to bring relief to areas of the Gulf States Conference, checks can be made out to Florida Conference and "community services hurricane relief"
written on the memo line. Mail to Florida Conference, P.O. Box 2626, Winter Park, FL 32790-2626
Relief effort photo albums are located at the bottom of this page.
We have created an open forum in the hopes it may be of assistance for those seeking other members of their family and friends. There
are spaces designated for posting information about someone who is missing, as well as a place for posting that someone is safe and wants
to leave their current contact information for the benefit of people who may be looking for them.
