CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Florida Conference is committed to Christian education. There are 34 Seventh-day Adventist elementary and middle schools,* and two that provide full high school programs.

It is the goal of Florida Conference to make Adventist education both affordable and of high quality. Nearly $4 million is invested annually in pre-college education—an average tuition discount of $1,100 per student.

Financial support is also provided to Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.

Additional educational services include:

  • A specialist in student mental health assessments.
  • Volume purchasing to keep textbook prices lower.
  • Library resources to schools unable to afford them.
  • Distance-learning curriculum for elementary and high school students.
For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow… —Isaiah 61:11

* Elementary schools that include lower high school grades are referred to as junior academies; full high school programs are known as academies.
