Florida is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of the United States, and the 225+ congregations in the Florida Conference reflect this rich diversity. Congregations vary in size, ethnic mix, and worship style. And many groups minister in languages other than English. These differences, when experienced in the context of God's all-inclusive love and grace, provide a thriving environment for cultural and spiritual enrichment.

The role of the Florida Conference is to ensure effective and appropriate use of resources, while providing a central organization to help congregations accomplish more than they could achieve on their own.
